The New Forest Tour 19/09/26
Was a well run event. Probably shouldn't have been too difficult in terms of hills but a few cheeky ones, though what seemed like constant headwinds and gusts did make it harder and let's be honest, probably less enjoyable than it could have been. Still 14.9mph average was an achievement.

New forest tour
Amazing ride, loved every minute except the 3rd 25 miles 🤣🤣🤣. Head wind really dropped morale but lovely ride nevertheless. I’ll definitely look to do this again in the future. Last 10 miles the handle bars seized so wide turns only

Not much left in the tank after yesterday's ride. Right foot really aching and was going to bail on this ride multiple times, however glad we went out, hill climbs nearly got us , but the speed rewards and views made up for the pain! 🚴🏻♂️

Same route different day
Not ridden afternoons for a while, drank more! Very strong wind coming from NE, so ascent to Bilsington, Aldington and all the way home exposed on marsh was tough and felt slow / more effort. An extra bar in each tyre was noticeable too for the wrong reasons. Road effects…

The old practice loop
Banana, few dried apricots and an espresso. What felt like a constant headwind from the north/ northeast all the way to Stone Cross / Aldington turning. Despite that , felt good, did the few inclines in the big cog which is promising. Good to be out
