First 18 miles up to Northbrook was pretty nice. The donuts were perfect — straight out of the fryer. Then it drizzled for the second half, but as my philosopher cousin says, “you can only get so wet!”

The Creek Road bridge just before the Route 1 intersection is still out (supposedly reopening this November) so we took a detour via Cossart Road, Stockford Road and Fairville Road, then a short section of Route 1 before turning left onto Creek Road. Also, the single lane bridge on N Mill Road just north
