Muddy & overgrown paths and a bit boring, actually. Public toilets at the Aquadrome & a Tesco nearby for post-walk snacks. Not suitable for buggies.

Frustrating walk with next to zero GPS coverage, which is no good if you are dysgraphic.
Signposts disappear after 3 miles, do spent 10 minutes pissing about in an electrified field before getting up the courage to scurry past 2 disinterested horses who had seen it all before.

Nice walk from a free parking place along quiet B roads & forest tracks.
A couple of sharp hills (you might need your Nordics for the last one) & a very dangerous road crossing over a blind bend on a 50mph road.
There are overgrown patches unsuitable for shorts & the trail is unsuitable for trainers

Mostly flat amble around the lake on paths suitable for rugged pushchairs.
Okay for trainers & shorts, as there are no overhanging nasties.
£6.30 for 2 hours' parking though - the Northerner in me was weeping.

This walk starts off promising, from a quaint little village and uphill through a cornfield which baby deer crash through with absolutely no regard for modern agricultural practices.
After that, it's a bit boring tbh - a lot of it is either head-high nettles / thistles with only horseflies for company
