Wanderwilli

1. Darmstadt-Mömlingen, HW 8
2. westl. Limesweg (Odenwaldlimes), HW 29
3. Einhardweg Michelstadt-Seligenstadt
4. Kultur und Technik, Offenbach/Main-Eppingen, HW 19
5. Blütenweg, Darmstadt-Wiesloch, HW 3
6. Mossautaler Drachenweg (alte Fassung, 51,4 km)
7. Marathonweg (rund um Bad König) (alte Fassung, 42 km)
8. Jugenheim-Laudenbach, HW 16
9. Alemannenweg
10. Nibelungensteig
11. Rhein-Main-Weg (Stockstadt/Rhein-Obernburg), HW 10
12. Mossautaler Drachenwege MD 1-4
Jugendgruppe in Wattenbek/Bordesholm lautete: "Mutig voran!" Nun denn, es ist Zeit. Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann?

Today I tackled another small section of the Limeswanderweg. Initially, the path leads through the meadows, where storks gathered today. Then it got a bit steeper. Upon reaching the rest bench, it turned out that there is also a shelter next to it, which today, however, was somewhat hidden behind the

Whit Monday 2026. Second day on the section to Blankenheim.

We continued our hike in Nettersheim. Unfortunately, again without having paid attention to the gastronomic diversity. Instead, we were immediately spoiled by the path next to the Urft. After crossing the railway tracks, we entered the Archaeological

Pentecost 2026. On this Sunday, we continued our Eifelsteig project.

We started at Steinfeld Monastery. First, it went downhill a bit and through a magnificent forest area. After crossing a road, we climbed steeply upwards until the view widened and an impressive panorama revealed itself: the view of

The headline promises more than we could deliver today. Corsica yes, Strasbourg no chance. Nothing against the French, but after an arduous climb on the "zig-zag path" we first enjoyed the summit view from the perspective of a hunter from the Electoral Palatinate.

Thus strengthened, we continued past

Today we unexpectedly had the pleasure of doing a double round around the Backhausteich and the Steinbrücker Teich with our friends from Darmstadt. This way, we could take the edge off the Ice Saints. The few raindrops that actually fell were quickly forgotten.

Today we continued - as planned - our way around Steinau. The path is really beautiful: as a circular route very varied, with wonderful views, distant views to the Spessart, then again forest, a meadow with young cows, and again and again fragrant flowers. Here a little downhill, then again steeply uphill

A beautiful spring day with blue skies and cumulus clouds, you have to get out. However, we were a bit late, so we shortened the original loop considerably as we got close to the parking lot again. There, the barefoot path advised me: "Take off your shoes!" Alright, a little walk for the feet, feeling

Today was a nice, small circular trail in the wine-growing region of Odenwälder Weininsel. Beautiful views of the Otzberg and the ridge of the Odenwald stretching to the south were just as refreshing as the flowers in the field and the blooming trees. But what pleased us most was the hare, which sat

The First of May - and dream weather for day-trippers with children, without children, with wagons, on bicycles, with and without backpacks. Easter Monday 2026 on the Eifelsteig. This stage is really beautiful. Starting in Morsbach, where an attractive farm café is located, the path initially led predominantly downhill into the Urft valley. We crossed the Urft and walked along the other bank towards the town of Gemünd.

To get straight to the point: no bats were to be seen. But there was plenty of birdsong in the trees. The birds sense the approaching spring and spread the word: it's almost here again! Hooray! The fields are coming back to life with color.

Otherwise, nothing much happened. A steep climb at the beginning
