Had a couple of wrong turns! The last section just before the decent I was looking for a bridal way. that seems to have been lost. We had to come down via Cock Howe which worked out fine in the end.

We spent a good 5 hours on this route with my yongest daughter. Lots of stopping to look at things on the way!
The ridge part of the walk is a nature trail and has infomation about the plants along the way.
