Thick dark clouds were already hanging over Buchholz this morning. According to rain radar, there should be a chance for our garden to get water from above by early afternoon ... Unfortunately, it stayed dry. Because of the uncertain weather conditions, I only started walking this afternoon. The lighting conditions were again ideal for 📸! Since the corn is still quite low, I still had a good overview of the fields

Since it was pretty muggy today, I started hiking right from home!
Fortunately, I have always found shady and cool corners!
The coolest thing was my ... wet t-shirt ... 😉 at the end of the tour
On the way I discovered paths that I did not know yet, even though we have been living in Buchholz for 20 years ... 🤓 I am always pleased to see that we live in a beautiful area, where others go on vacation! 🤗

After I brought Frank to the starting point of his hike today, I went to Altenkirchen today!
I would never have expected that my tour today would be the most varied of my Komoot life so far 🤗:
Parks and forests, historical and modern, city and country, animal as well as water and ice!
Even adventures were not long in coming ...: overgrown trails and a bad-tempered stray shepherd! This dog didn't want to let a family with a small dog (looks like Willis "Pam") growl past ... Only when the small dog was hugged and the German shepherd reprimanded could the family walk past.
The dog sniffed around on the footpath, still very excited. (It was the way just before the fishing ponds). With my eyes turned away, I walked slowly and calmly past the German Shepherd. 😬
Behind the Wiedbrücke I was able to cross a stream again through a ford! ....

Today Frank and I drove to the Westerwaldkreis. After taking him to the starting point of his hike, I went to Maxsain - inspired by Maria😈 & Jacks🐶 tours. There I parked at the cemetery near the Protestant church.
On my way through the town, through fields and meadows and past a wonderful pond, I was able to relax my soul! This was only interrupted by curious cattle cher! The proportion of the road was increased, because I spontaneously wanted to shorten my hike a bit on the way, because it got too humid in places. I really enjoyed the tour! 👍🏻😀

I started my tour today in the parking lot at the Catholic Church in Windhagen.
First I visited the nice town center with its pigeon fountain. This name has nothing to do with the birds of the same name! 🤓
A little further I was able to marvel at a special hedge ... 😎!
I then left the place behind to explore meadows and forest trails that I had never entered before! The forest paths were sometimes enchanted and every now and then I heard indefinable breeches ... 😳😬! Maybe there is haunted there? 😉 I flinched a few times and looked around.
During the second half of my hike the path suddenly ended on an overgrown mountain slope. So I started looking and found a detour back to my planned route. When I arrived at the foot of the above-mentioned slope, I saw a barbed wire fence, which did not invite you to climb over it ... So it was the right decision not to scramble down the mountain slope ...

With my 🧦👟👟 from Leguano I just ran after my nose today. My right foot was a little cramped on the hard road surface at the start of the tour. Therefore I headed for meadow and gravel paths as soon as possible! The foot was fine again in no time! 👍🏻 There were many nice photo motifs on the way! 📸😁
I was home just in time for the rain! 😎

On my hike today, my path initially led me to the place where I had deposited my third painted stone before Easter - to the high seat.
There I had placed him a little off the path. He was no longer there, so there is a happy finder! 🤗
Many paths on the way have just been newly graveled. There was a lot of massage for the feet! 😉 During my hike I had to reschedule several times, because paths suddenly ended due to the construction site and overgrown grain fields or could no longer be found!
The landscape near Stockhausen is something special, I was there for the first time today. 🤩
It was a successful tour again! 😃

I hadn't been to Bonn in seven years ... That should finally change today! 😁
I parked in the parking lot at the Vilich tram stop!
Paths that cross the B56 led to the Rhine in an arc. After climbing the Kennedy Bridge, the beautiful river was at my feet!
The districts on the right and left of the Rhine have been connected again for a little more than 70 years:
general-anzeiger-bonn.de/bonn/stadt-bonn/kennedybruecke-in-bonn-rheinbruecke-wurde-vor-70-jahren-eineweiht_aid-47431843I really enjoyed the view from the bridge! We continued to the left side of the Rhine and from there through the city and courtyard gardens to the city center! This was well attended!
Unfortunately there is currently only one common 🚻 toilet in Remigiusplatz in the entire city center! You can't use toilets in the shops ... It meant queuing up for me and others ... 🙄
I relieved ...
