First of all, my taxi service was asked today 🤓! After I had brought Frank to the starting point of his hike, the road was full and partly congested 🚗😴😴🚗🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️🚧🚧🚦🛑🏗🏗🚜🚜 back to Buchholz. There my stomach reported violently 🤪 "Hunger !!!" So I first attacked the fridge and treated myself to a glass of water!
Freshly strengthened, I was finally able to start my lap.
The chirping of birds and a light wind ensured relaxation along the way
The sun shone ☀️, so that it was sometimes humid without shadow ... 😅🌡!
I was also able to observe and take pictures of a little wood mouse on my lap.
Good luck with your search! 😊

After a long absence from hiking, I put on my 👣👟👟 barefoot hiking shoes again today and started walking straight from home.
The paths - often gravel - were again good training for the soles of my feet ... 🤓
Most of the time I was alone and could listen to the birds and the wind undisturbed. In some places there was also traffic noise, which did not bother me.
When I was walking along the Asbach, the first stretch of it smelled very unpleasantly of putrefaction. I suspect that this smell was caused by the broth in the water ditches there (along the meadows). Fortunately, I left this section of the trail behind me quickly!
From the last third of the tour, more and less water droplets came from above or from the side 🌬. Every now and then I used my old umbrella. Since this is not windproof, it unfortunately dismantled it today ... 🌂➡️🗑

In summery weather I drove Frank to the starting point of today's hike. Then I made my way to the beautiful Rhine from the parking lot at the RömerWelt Museum! There was also a pleasant breeze blowing there. The path along the Rhine towards Rheinbrohl leads over a pleasant footpath. From there there are always ways to get to the water! In Rheinbrohl you can find many historical buildings but also some construction sites ... Away from the water it was pretty warm at around 24 ° C and sometimes already humid. Even if the tour was quite road-based, there was a lot to see and to take photos! 👍🏻😊

A letter ✉ had to be in the box and a read book 📖 back in the bookcase, so my hike first took me to the Buchholz "City".
From there it was then simply "according to the nose" without a planned tour.
First I took a closer look at the Buchholz cemetery and met a friend there. After I had left the residential areas behind me, fields, meadows, woods and two previously unknown hiking trails awaited me again.

After a compulsory dental break, I was able to lace up my hiking boots 👟👟 again! Today I wanted to explore the area between Dahlhausen and Hanfmühle more closely. I have often enjoyed the wonderful landscape there from my car!
The unpaved paths were sometimes very muddy, so the road surface was quite pleasant today. Often you could also use the banquets (the overgrown roadside).
I wish you all a nice beginning of spring and a relaxed weekend as possible! 🌼🌷🌱😊🙋🏼♀️

For some time there has been a "milk filling station" in the Buchholz district of Irmeroth. Until now I have only ever seen the information signs from my car.
Today was a beautiful and not too warm day to combine a hike with the milk cone! 🤗
I parked the car near the village pond on the side of the road, as all parking spaces were occupied.
Since many of the paths are still pretty muddy here, the increased proportion of roads was okay today. So I was dealing with little mud.

Today I chose a mud-free hiking route! For me that meant a lot of pavement, but the tour still had a lot to offer. The landscape around Weyerbusch and Oberirsen is wonderful! A hike from beboja inspired me to do my tour today! Thank you, beboja!
As a refreshment on the way I got original Scottish shortbread from "Walkers". Because it goes so well with it, I made a porridge with fruit at home! 😋

Today I used my personal taxi service!
On the way to his hike, Frank dropped me off in Stockhausen. Thank you for that, Frank! 👍🏻
Wrapped up like winter, I made my way back to Buchholz in glorious sunshine, frosty temperatures and sometimes icy winds.
It is always interesting to see how the landscape and nature change depending on the season. Although I've been to this area many times, I've found nice photo opportunities again! 😊
I wish you all a great weekend! 🙋🏼♀️

In the most beautiful sunshine I took a lap through Asbach today! That had the big advantage for me that I could walk with clean feet - except in the parking lot - apart from a few dog poo ich, which I could always avoid at the last moment.
Even in Asbach there are still corners that I did not know yet, even though we have been living in this area for over 20 years! 😁
So you don't have to drive further and further away from your home to discover new things! 😎
