A relaxed round trip on the east side of the island. From Agüimes the route initially goes gently uphill through a rather desolate landscape with the typical dry vegetation consisting of agaves, tabaiba and other scratchy bushes along the way. What is spectacular, however, is the view of the ocean. Below

The tour starts in the upper part of the Barranco de Guayadeque in Montaña de las Tierras. It goes up to the volcanic crater of Los Marteles in the natural park of the same name. The return route initially leads along the ridge above the Barrancos de Guayadeque on the eastern flank of the Central Massif

As people from all nooks and crannies of the islands flock here for this festival, the access roads and parking lots in and around Tejeda become crowded. So we came

This tour starts very relaxed: From the GC-60 at the Asserador pass we descend into the Barranco del Juncal. After the town of the same name, we cross the Barranco Valley and enter the shady pine forest of Pajonales on the other side. Finally we reach the pass of Pajonales (Cruz de Pajonales) at an altitude

A varied tour at medium altitudes around 1,000 meters ("las medianias") in the green north. A circular tour from/to Fontanales in the Doramas Natural Park. Here you can find the famous “Eternal Spring” of the Canary Islands. The cultural landscape is replaced by the lush green of the Barranco de la Virgen

A really beautiful hike, with more than 1,000 meters of elevation between Chipude and Valle Gran Rey or in the opposite direction, depending on whether you prefer uphill or downhill. We recommend the downhill tour after taking the bus from Valle to Chipude.
If it rains, it is better to avoid the tour

This hike takes us from the parking lot in Cruz de Tejeda along the rim of the Caldera de Tejeda to Artenara. This ridge also forms the weather divide, separating the lush north of the island from the arid south.
Not only are the panoramic views and the glimpse into the enormous caldera spectacular, but
