Chase 2026 - Birches Valley & Pit Pool Quarry
Walk no.16 of 18 unique hikes planned across Cannock Chase.
Starting at Tackeroo and heading into the old quarry site at Pit Pool, remnants of human landscaping here making interesting scenery. Then onto Birches Valley navigating past a bunch of apes climbing through tree tops and zip lines.

Chase 2026 - Rugeley Quarry
Walk no.15 of 18 unique hikes planned across Cannock Chase. Big loop around the quarry in the most isolated and off trail route yet. Passing Oakedge shooting range and the conservation areas near Wolseley. It was raining so saw no-one today, not a soul.

Chase 2026 - Seven Springs & WWI Firing Range
Walk no.14 of 18 unique walks planned across Cannock Chase. Long straight walk to the secret MOD camp (random) then swinging back via the World War Rifle ranges and the burn forest remains. I always wonder what happened here, seeing a huge part of the forest burn away.

Chase 2026 - Abraham's Valley & Pepper Slade
Walk no.13 of 18 unique walks planned across Cannock Chase. Beautiful day, lots of blue skies great views across Sherbrook Valley. One of my favourite parts of the chase is the vista across this valley, it's been more spectacular in the conditions I had today.
