Medium fitness level required and safe route without major risk zones. It is easier when start the hike toward Kranzberggipfel and reach back to Mittenwald via Lautetsee.

From Urfeld to Martinskopf via Berggasthaus, returned to Parkplatz Talstation Herzogstand , from Urfeld it s not so challenging and not so difficult to Berggasthaus Herzogstand. Route back is steep. So it is best to start from Urfeld near Cafe am See.
