A wonderful premium hiking trail that I have walked several times and that always inspires me.
The starting point was at the Frankershausen sports field and from there we went straight into the impressive karst landscape with rugged rocks and holes.

The 'new' Ars Natura (2020) from Melsungen has its appeal... the artworks are quite scattered and interesting.
Unfortunately, the forest path has now also mutated into a forest autobahn, a real shame!
Otherwise a nice circular route through fields, forest and between many apple trees.

Strolling round over the Dörnberg in fantastic sunny temperatures. As always, the alpine path is beautiful with a great view, which we enjoyed for a while from a bench.
