The part where you go down steep steps and then go left along the River can be very tricky, there is no easy path to follow when the firms are full. IF you go halfway down the steps there's another path you can use.

This was a good but tuff hike I started from binns end carpark but it doesn't show it here (a problem with the internet and I think) the first part of the walk is through the woods across the reservoir straight towards the cottages until you get to Intake Lane the rest is on the route, the only part

A nice walk very interesting abandoned building please Very boggy in parts Well worth the effort.
