Vysehrad-Moldau-Napkavka-Nieuwe Stad
Vandaag vanuit ons hotel naar Vysehrad gewandeld en daar de Petrus en Paulus kerk bekeken (buitenkant)
Ook de begraafplaats was zeer de moeite waard met een groot graf (de Slavin) waar veel markante Tjechiers liggen begraven. Heel mooi gebied met prachtige gebouwen, mooi ruim park en mooie uitzichten.
Daarna afgedaald…

Took the tram to Prague Castle.. got off one stop earlier and walked up through the Royal Gardens.
What beautiful buildings, cathedrals etc..
Also visited the Golden Lane (was a bit of a disappointment)
We were on time for the changing of the guard though!
It was pleasantly busy, felt quite relaxed. Space

Super nice bike tour through beautiful Prague!
We had a very nice guide who knew a lot and could tell it well.
So much that I can't tell it all here 🙈.
But we enjoyed it very much and as the icing on the cake: beautiful sunny weather, which made it even more beautiful ☀️

Eper Enkenpad (Klompenpad)
Was heerlijk weer om te wandelen. Wat betreft dit Klompenpad heb ik wat gemixte gevoelens.
Relatief veel asfalt, afgewisseld met zandpaden en paden door weiland.
Er was vrij veel verkeerslawaai van de N309 en de A50, waar je ook een stukje pal naast loopt.
Er waren ook zeker mooie stukken…

After a long time, I walked a Klompenpad again.
This one was still on my list.
At home, I decided I would take the shortened route, but once on the way, I decided I would go for the full route.
It was a beautiful route with quite a lot of long straight sections.

From our accommodation in Borger, we cycle down through the Hondsrug National Park (lots of forest and heath) towards Sleen. (Over the Sleenerzand)
We had coffee there at a nice tea garden (run by a retired shepherdess.) She also has a nice exhibition space.

Started Komoot a bit too late this morning and stopped it too late this afternoon 🙈 but hey, the route was about 50 km.

We started at Borger and immediately headed onto the Hondsrug. Lovely ride through the forest and we reached the well-known blue lake Hef Nije Hemelriek

Wonderful loop for cycling.
The weather was beautiful and the route was very nice.
Along the only hunebed in the province of Groningen that is still in its original location, through forest, along the river Drentsche Aa, through the National Landscape Drentsche Aa, through the Balloerveld and the heath

Pieterpadrondje Adorp/Haren
Heel mooi afwisselend rondje vanuit Haren gefietst. Het was prachtig fietsweer, rond de 21 graden ☀️We begonnen vanaf ons hotel in Westerbroek.
De route startte langs het Paterwoldsemeer en ging verder langs watertjes, molens, akkers, door bos en ook nog een stuk langs een industriegebied met imposante bedrijven.

Boerderijenfietstocht.....maar dan anders 2026
Met prachtig zonnig weer vertrokken we, na een noodzakelijk bakkie koffie, rond 11 uur voor de jaarlijkse fietstocht. Deze keer met z'n drieën......en bijna 1000 medefietsers 😉.
De route voerde dit jaar vooral naar het oosten en noorden.
Opnieuw een mooie route uitgezet door de organisatie. Met ook een aantal…

Fietstocht Tour de Retour
Erg mooie fietstocht westelijk van Apeldoorn. Gevarieerd landschap, heidevelden, bos en zandverstuiving.
Langs Radio Kootwijk, altijd weer een indrukwekkend gebouw. In 'De Garage' even opgestoken halverwege hoewel dat qua temperatuur niet echt nodig was. Iets meer regen en lagere temperatuur dan voorspeld, maar wel goed te doen.

Hike, a bit of myself and a bit of Komoot 😉
Hiked nicely through a beautiful green part of Groenlo. Slightly extended the hike by also walking along the Slinge river.
The last part back through a residential area. Made it back just in time before the rain started pouring down. 🙏

The day started sunny, turned cloudy in the afternoon and ended with rain in the evening.
This morning by tram to Prague Castle (we had already been there yesterday), from there walked down the Nerudova in the Malá Strana district, a beautiful street to walk through.
