Lovely walk following Church Beck, passing an old copper mine. To get to the wild swimming spot, it gets slightly more technical, and involves a bit of scrambling, small kids will need help to get down and back up.

It was a great loop, through ancient woods, and moors, wild swimming spots, wild horses, a pub halfway and ending at a tea room.

Easy, mainly flat walk, with a few muddy sections.
Beautiful views
Free carpark
Toilets at the start of the walk.
Suitable for off road pushchair (some sections are very muddy so only big wheels will get around)
There is a cafe at the start but it was closed, worth checking before you go when they open.

A lovely loop from Rosedale Abbey, a village almost just in the middle of the North York Moors.
Beautiful views all around, a little muddy at places and with a couple of inclined sections throw in for good measure but a fantastic family route that ends at a playground.
You can park at the village.

A remote walk from Bracorina to Lochan Stole passing through Lochan Innis Eanruig. We didn't saw a single person during the entire walk. Stunning views, great for little walkers who are confident in different terrains.
A mix of terrains, rocky sections with opportunities for scrambling along the way and

A beautiful walk that takes you from Great Wood car park on the shores of Derwent Water up through Great Wood before opening up to views across the Fells and a climb up to Walla Crag before a rocky decent through the woodland alongside the waterfall.
Parking is £7 and free for National Trust members.

A beautiful walk with sweeping views across the North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast. Starting from Lordstones Country Park it is straight uphill to the summit before winding back across the moor and down. This walk can be extended in either direction but this route is perfect for little legs.

Big hills, strong winds and small people.
Could have been a disaster but owing to this group of super mums, it absolutely wasn’t (it also ended @the_owl_hawnby so even if it had been, there was the promise of a drink to take the edge off)
