    Coniston, wild swimming spot

Lovely walk following Church Beck, passing an old copper mine. To get to the wild swimming spot, it gets slightly more technical, and involves a bit of scrambling, small kids will need help to get down and back up.

I forgot to stop recording the walk, and only realised when we drove away. It was a loop 😅

Easy, mainly flat walk, with a few muddy sections.

      Beautiful views

      Free carpark

Toilets at the start of the walk.

Suitable for off road pushchair (some sections are very muddy so only big wheels will get around)

There is a cafe at the start but it was closed, worth checking before you go when they open.

A lovely loop from Rosedale Abbey, a village almost just in the middle of the North York Moors.

Beautiful views all around, a little muddy at places and with a couple of inclined sections throw in for good measure but a fantastic family route that ends at a playground.

You can park at the village.

A remote walk from Bracorina to Lochan Stole passing through Lochan Innis Eanruig. We didn't saw a single person during the entire walk. Stunning views, great for little walkers who are confident in different terrains.

A mix of terrains, rocky sections with opportunities for scrambling along the way and

    1. A beautiful walk that takes you from Great Wood car park on the shores of Derwent Water up through Great Wood before opening up to views across the Fells and a climb up to Walla Crag before a rocky decent through the woodland alongside the waterfall.

Parking is £7 and free for National Trust members.
