Didn’t appreciate elevation for middle third so stayed on the main path and came back down - lovely!

First few km were a slog. Route not clear, ground a bit boggy and lots of stiles, but after that it was lovely - especially the return walk along the water and waterfalls. Last few km were hard work!!!

Many different routes and loops around Thorndon Park. I recommend parking by The Green Man in Herongate for free, instead of the actual Park car parks...
