The tour is really a highlight. The paths are perfectly signposted. Mostly solid ground, forest and field paths, sometimes asphalt and now and then beach paths at low tide. Some great little villages and towns cross the path. For St. Andrews, you're welcome to give yourself a day off. Perfect to switch off
