Vado to Marzabotto (Train & Hike close to Bologna)
Nice Hike close to Bologna. Both Vado and Marzabotto can be reach by Train from Bologna Centrale. In Vado you pass two Cafés and a supermarket, so you can have a breakfast there and stock up for the hike. The train runs every hour to Vado and twice an hour to Marzabotto, so going to Vado in the morning makes it easy to come back from Marzabotto in the afternoon. In Marzabotto you will also find information on the Monte Sole Massaker by German troops in the Second World War.
