It's amazing how many great hidden ponds there are in Vogtland. Without really planning it, I passed a few on my tour and I'm sure I missed a few more. The tour is particularly well suited for bikers who are not so trained, as mostly well-drivable paths, but also one or the other small challenge awaits.

Very cool tour with a lot of unpaved road, single trails and one or the other crisp, but not too long, climbs. The big climbs at the beginning. Great prospects! At the end of the chill, well-developed bike path between Oelsnitz and Falkenstein.

A wonderful mountain bike tour around the Hohenwarte reservoir. It went from the upper reservoir of the pump storage plant down over the dam wall to the other side of the lake with many great and lovingly prepared vantage points. Continue along the reservoir and then by ferry back to the starting shore
