Siamo andati a dare un occhiata al tratto di ciclovia FVG6 (ed in parte FVG9) tra Rosa e Mussons. Il tratto è stato recentemente sistemato con aree di sosta e fondo in macadam compatto. Anche questo tratto si è rivelato essere piuttosto impegnativo con sentieri selvaggi e ripidi soprattutto in prossimità dell'eremo della Pasquarella. Il terreno abbastanza asciutto ci ha comunque consentito di passare senza difficoltà. Il posto tappa fuori Civitella è stata una scelta felicissima che ci ha regalato un panorama ed un tramonto spettacolare.

La prima tappa del cammino ci ha portato a visitare alcuni borghi veramente silenti! Tra i più pittoreschi c'è Santa Restituta (5 abitanti, pulitissima e ben tenuta), Toscolano e Melezzole. Per noi tappa piuttosto impegnativa per distanza e dislivello con alcuni brevi tratti su sentieri selvaggi e rovinati dallo scorrimento dell'acqua.

Tante strade forestali ed un breve tratto su sentiero tra le 2 malghe (Strechizza e Rauna) per questo anello dalla discreta lunghezza. Malga Strechizza è stata ben ristrutturata ed è monticata mentre la malga Rauna è stata adibita a piccolo rifugio non custodito. Il rifugio è chiuso, rimane aperto solo il piccolo ricovero invernale. L'itinerario si svolge per la maggior parte nel bosco, senza grandi vedute, ma i tratti panoramici a malga Strechizza e soprattutto quello strepitoso presso la cappella Zita (costruita nel1917) valgono da soli la lunga camminata. Rientro a Malborghetto per sella Nebria dopo l'inevitabile stop ai "dolci di Irma" a Valbruna.
