The cycle route has many climbs. Without an e-bike it would be quite strenuous. The Emmlerweg is worth seeing. I liked the outward route through Bernsbach and Waschleithe better. Not so much the return route through Schwarzenberg, as you cycle on busy roads for a long time.

This breathtaking hike is highly recommended.
The weather was cloudy at times, sunny at times, and quite windy in places. I would recommend a long-sleeved top and sturdy shoes. The route is somewhat challenging with some steep climbs. Stamina and a sure footing are required for this hike.
