Day 7: with 31 km and 30 degrees, the weather today was really muggy, the ascents from Baiona to Vigo cost a lot of energy. The paths were also partly difficult to find and signposted. We also met very few other pilgrims. I suspect many took an alternative route.

Day 6: half way done, today a shorter tour with 19 km, tomorrow it will be more strenuous again with 28 km, Oia is a very nice coastal town, it was hard to leave the accommodation. The Casa Puertas with its little garden and lovely people was truly a highlight.

Day 5: Crossing to Spain, but the official ferry is broken and docked in Spain. Local fishermen have "water taxis" as a solution to ferry the pilgrims across. The rest of the day's tour was then rather short at 20 km. Discovered a real gem as accommodation with Casa Puertas. Very lovingly furnished with

Day 4: Today it was 27 km to the Spanish border in Caminha, the route was again rather unspectacular. In the end, it went along the coast again. Tomorrow we will take the ferry across to Spain.

Day 3: 24 km The paths led mostly through forest sections, rooty and rocky. But a nice contrast to wind and coast. In the shade of the trees, it was quite bearable, especially since we already had 26 degrees in the morning with a cloudless sky.

Day 2: 28 km and 39,500 steps. Unfortunately, the route wasn't quite as interesting as Day 1, but we were at our accommodation with a pool by 4 PM. The relaxation program came in handy after the strenuous 1st day.

Day 1: 51210 steps. The weather was initially really miserable, foggy and very windy. Real Atlantic feeling. Later, however, sunny and cloudless. Unfortunately, the bascule bridge was closed due to maintenance, hence a small detour around the harbor basin. Caused quite a bit of confusion among the pilgrims
