Alba sulle colline
La partenza prima dell'alba si è rivelata una scelta vincente: le temperature ancora gradevoli e la luce dell'aurora hanno trasformato le nostre amate colline in uno spettacolo ancora più magico del solito. Il nostro percorso ci ha condotti attraverso un susseguirsi di borghi e panorami mozzafiato: da Chieri ad Andezeno, a Montaldo, poi Sciolze, Bardassano, Gassino, San Mauro e Rivodora. Qui le strade si sono divise: Franca e Mauro hanno scelto di proseguire verso l'impegnativa salita di Superga, mentre io e Abele abbiamo optato per raggiungere altri amici per un meritato aperitivo. 70 km di pura bellezza, dove strade nuove dalle vedute spettacolari si sono alternate a vecchi percorsi che non smettono mai di emozionare. Dopo qualche ora di relax e condivisione, il rientro è stato fortunatamente breve: il sole ormai alto aveva portato con sé temperature decisamente troppo elevate per pedalare in tranquillità. Un'altra conferma che partire all'alba non è solo romantico, ma anche strategicamente perfetto per godersi al meglio la bellezza del territorio senza patire il caldo estivo.
