The Ilmtal cycle path is highly recommended. Wonderfully relaxing and the smell of fresh hay kept coming back during our ride. :-) You should take a break at the castle in Kromsdorf. The castle garden is open. Unfortunately there is no restaurant, but right next door there is a private agricultural museum

In glorious summer weather with little wind, we tried out the new asphalt road along the canal toward Münster. A dream! Well signposted, we even made small detours into the surrounding countryside. The Werse Cycle Path is highly recommended. All in all, a very successful tour! :-)
