A beautiful tour through the Hüttener Berge to the Aschberg. (Only recommended for mountain bikes). From there, we stopped at Hof Bannick on Lake Bistensee for a stop for delicious coffee and cake. Then, via Holzbunge, we returned to Owschlag.
We couldn't resist a short detour onto the closed A7 😁

After our tour to Kerteminde, we checked into our accommodation and headed back into the city. We wandered around a bit, ate something, had a drink, and enjoyed the summer evening. Odense is and remains a wonderful city worth seeing.

Today we went from Odense to Kerteminde and back via Munkebo. A very beautiful tour through fields and meadows, with almost no traffic on the way there. Today we went via Lohe and Hohn to the Hohner ferry on the Eider River. We were supposed to cross there and continue on to the Lexfähre. But, as is typical in vacation mode, we didn't realize that the ferry only operates on weekends. 🤷
So we headed back via Sophienhamm, Hohn, and Fockbek to Rendsburg

Perfect winter hiking weather. What could be better than a walk from the village into the countryside? And because it was so lovely, we extended our route and walked all the way around Lake Owschlag.
