This was meant to be my first 30 mile ride, but at the 25 mile mark I had run out of snacks and fluids, and was beginning to feel it, so cut the ride short and headed back.

Headed up to Aldershot for the first time. Lots to explore here. Looks like the locals have a good network of natural and built trails away from the main fire roads. Some easy to find, others I imagine not so easy. What I did manage to find on the Ash Ranges side north of the military section reminded

Exploring trails on Pitch and Holmbury Hill. Trail list and order for this ride was; El'Capitan, Curly Wurly, John the Baptist, Grave Yard, Yogurt Pots, Telegraph Row, Jackie Brown, Delirium, I should Coco, Van Gough's missing Ear, Barry Knows Best.

Connecting Blue, red and black trails into one big loop. Blue 10 - 12 was diverted due to trail maintenance. Swinley trails are top draw. Worth going back when the trail maintenance is finished.

Slowly expanding my trail knowledge of the region. First time up Crooksbury hill. Looking forward to seeing the view on a sunny day.

Like
