Since we're in Neustift am Walde this weekend 😊, I had planned a tour through the Lainzer Tiergarten ... Start and finish was the Heuriger Zur Wildsau at Hubertustor. Felix should wait for me with a good book ... When we got there, ALL the tables were already reserved, so we only had a short time to drink 😩.
So a new plan had to be found ...
Felix drives to the Lainzer Tor and goes to the Hermesvilla, where we will meet 🥰
The Hubertustor and the St. Veiter Tor were both closed 😏, so I had to go to the Lainzer Tor as well.
Unfortunately, I took the wrong path on the way before I noticed that my goal was in the other direction 🤦♀️
By the time I finally got to the entrance to the zoo, I was already done ...
In Vienna it was 34 degrees 😱 today
So it became a shorter round in the zoo itself ...
Felix met in the Hermesvilla and after a little refreshment we were finally able to drive to our country inn 😎

Today I was out and about in Schleissheim Palace and Lustheim 😁
Wonderful area with water, flowers and forest 🤩
I could have stayed there all day 😂The old castle goes back to a mansion built under Duke Wilhelm V around 1598 and was completed in 1623.
The New Palace was built from 1701-1726 and is more than 300m long.
Lustheim Palace is just over 1km from the New Palace. The building was built from 1684 on the occasion of the marriage of Elector Max Emanuel to the Austrian Emperor's daughter Maria Antonia in 1695.

After cleaning and refilling the pool all day yesterday, today I went to the Windach storage facility.
I started the tour at the Windachsee-Alm.
Along the east bank there was a lot of forest and only root paths ...
After the lake, the path leads out of the forest, over flowering meadows and fields.
I haven't seen so many butterflies in a long time 🤗 And I also met a snake 😱
On the west bank of the lake, a narrow path leads almost along the water ... is sometimes very narrow 😅
Back at the Alm I wanted to have a drink
but when I saw the crowd - after I met almost no one on the way - I drove home straight away 😉

Today we were on the Lech again, but much more south, in Lechbruck 😊
We parked above the Via Claudia campsite and walked clockwise from there via Urspring towards Lechbruck.
With the exception of Lechbruck, there were very few people around
The circular route leads beautifully almost the whole time along the Lech or Lech reservoir.
The south-east bank is rather shady,
which was very pleasant at today's temperatures 🤪
The north-west bank is almost only sunny ...
There are also refreshment stops along the way 🍻

Today Nico and I circled the Wörthersee 🤗 in wonderful weather
The lake is beautiful 😍
Nico just kept saying: Mama, this is not in Germany ... we are in the Caribbean 🏝😂
On the way we saw some giant fish 🐟
And there was also a little refreshment in between 🍔
We both liked it very much 😎

On the way back from Rothenburg we stopped in Dinkelsbühl to take a look at the city 😊
Also beautiful and, according to Focus, the most beautiful old town in Germany 🤷♀️
Not for me ... There are so many other beautiful cities 🤩
But, everyone has to decide for themselves 😉
Once again it was a great day and a wonderful weekend at the beginning of the holiday 🥰

Today we were transported to the Middle Ages when we arrived in Rothenburg 😘
The city is one of the 10 most beautiful small towns in Germany and is world famous 😎
I can only agree with that ... When you walk through Rothenburg, you are enchanted ... In another world, in the year 970😙
The story is so extensive that it would be simply too much to write everything down here ...
If you feel like it, you can have a look at Wiki 😉
We also hiked out of the city, there are great hiking trails and great views of Rothenburg.
A great day, with a lot of history 🤩
