“See Rome and die” yes or something like that. You have to have the courage to explore the city by bike here. Who knows how Italians drive cars, knows what is going on here in Rome. Nevertheless, we dared and survived. Overwhelmed by the city and saturated with great impressions that we first have to process. Even if I only cursed when I got to the campsite at the beginning, today the city put on its most beautiful smile and gave us really great moments. I can't get out of the raving anymore, just gigantic. 👍👍👍

A Sunday tour to enjoy the area and treat yourself to something. Via Kaprun up to the Klammsee, back over the main road with 60 things flown in Kaprun 🚀.
Then via Zell to Bruck where there was (believe it or not!) The first sundae 🍦 for this year 😋.
It was probably also the last 😩.
Off to the Womo, swimsuit on and swim another lap 🏊‍♂️.

Yes, that was what we were missing: The mountains 🏔 to the left and right of us, the excellently developed bike paths and signs 👌. A great tour over Kaprun and around Lake Zell. Even in Zell there are no crowds so I like that (I hate people 😂😉).
Today it was still relatively flat, let's see if we can improve.
I hope the pictures are convincing and I've made an extra effort 😂😉.

The last tour on Rügen. But we are not sad, we wanted it that way!
The north is not our territory, we didn't really feel at home.
Maybe it was the masses of people or we are just spoiled.
Tomorrow we will do what many would call crazy. We drive from Rügen to Austria 🇦🇹. So see you soon from the mountains ⛰☀️💪

There is a stiff breeze on Rügen. Visited Cape Arkona today. Crowds as far as the eye can see then drove a little further along the coast so we had our peace and quiet 😉👍. Back with a lot of headwind but no problem thanks to e.

Goal today; we don't want to see people 😂😉. The goal was achieved 99%, a damn quiet corner of the Lech. There is a lot of water 💦, a lot of nature 🌲 and great paths. Unfortunately, you don't always drive directly on the Lech through shady forests 🌳.
So if you are looking for peace and quiet on Sunday you will love the route.

On our last day in Bautzen we drove towards the Zittau Mountains more precisely to the Oybin. This time mom was there too, which is why nothing big was planned, but then became about 5km. Exactly one does not know 😉🙈 since the GPS spun a little.
During the week you are almost alone there and you can enjoy nature and curious rock figures to the fullest.
There is so much beautiful to discover that one day is simply not enough, it was not the last time we were there 👌👍. There are several ways to get to the Oybin, we chose the way through the Ritterschlucht. For the lazy or the elderly, a small train even goes up.

What our Alps are big, powerful and rugged, Saxon Switzerland is rather small, cute and simply fairytale haft. And because we want to do something good for body and soul on vacation, we climbed the "Lilienstein" today. The south climb was short and crisp, probably there were more steps than a path surrounded by a fairytale forest. Once at the top you can look for miles in every direction, especially the view down to the Elbe and the Königstein Fortress is beautiful 😊.
For the descent we chose the north side, which led back to the parking lot through long paths through the fairytale forest.

So, since I could not ride a bike for a long time, I did a small, fine training session with my mum. At the request of my wife, today almost only forests 🌳 and as little city 🏢 as possible.
Was a good idea after the last wet days, we looked like the 🐖🐷.
But it was really fun again, the wheels 🚲 are clean again and waiting for the next adventure.

Hach it was cool ... 👍. Finally mountains ⛰ and we were in the middle of it, how did I miss that. At the beginning there was a quiet mountain tour, by train to the Laber and on foot 🦶 around the Ettaler Manndl and the Soilasee back down the valley. The tour was still without a descent can go to the bone. In the end there was a refreshment for the tired feet just wonderful.
