The walk was a little boring for the first half, as it was all the same terrain and scenery. But when you got to the stream it was much nicer. The dip in Slippery Stones was lovely! Highly recommend!

Got better!. Started out really misty. Views would habe been fantastic throughout could we have seen them! Really easy to follow the route. Super wet and boggy underfoot. Noones feet remained dry. Long walk for us, was hilly at the start but was pretty flat for the rest. Will do again on a clearer

An average walk. You start at the train station and need £2 to park and the only way to do this is via the RingGo app. There is a cafe (just taking cash when I went) and toilets at the train station. The first part of the walk through the woods was lovely. The rest of the walk was quite baron, with rocks

Gorgous evening walk,
well marked paths mostly off road.
Stunning views of the hills and over Manchester - and a lovely pub with a great beer garden at the start/end. The Devonshire Arms Took all our willpower to do the walk!
