A cracking little hike to a waterfall, with views on the way. We extended it via the fairy bridge loop, which was very atmosphere. Waterfall section would be tricky when it’s wet, or really busy, but we were early on a dry day so it was perfect. There are passages where you have to stoop under overhanging rocks and parts with a cable on one side and fence o the other to grab while you go up/down but it’s fenced off from the drops so felt safe - just watch your footing so you don’t slip

An easy, enjoyable ride around the lake, stopping at the beautiful Old Town of Annecy - the Venice of the Alps - for lunch and a wander around the streets and canals - wonderful

Nice little walk through the nature reserve. Mostly in the forest but with a few lovely view points and a golf course. Loads of funghi

Quite slippery in places after some rain and a wrong turn at the paragliding takeoff point (that track it definitely only an up when it’s wet!). Climbed back up and went the long way around via Ponnay which was nice. Great views, fun to watch the paragliders and a cool trail under the cliffs

Some of my favourite Peak District views and trails on this loop.
Aston up to Win Hill has wonderful views to distract you from the climb!
The view from WLT makes the climb worthwhile (including the rocky sections).
Then the traverse followed by a great descent to the reservoir.
