Habichtswaldsteig Extratour H7 "Im Land der Riesen"
Sehr gut beschilderte Tour. Es geht meist durch Wald und oft auf kleinen Pfaden und gut begehbaren Wegen. Idyllisch und ruhig. Die Weidelsburg durfte auf unserer Tour nicht fehlen, man hat eine tolle Weitsicht von dem Turm, bei entsprechendem Wetter. Anfang März 2026 lagen viele Bäume von Fällarbeiten quer über die Wege, was die Sache sehr sportlich machte.

Bad Driburg im Winter
Die Tour ist eine schöne Mischung und auch im Winter machbar. Durch die kleine Altstadt ist man schnell durchgegangen und kann die Ruhe im Park genießen. Die Wege am ind im Wald waren zum Teil sehr nass bei dem Tauwetter, aber machbar. Einzig den Fußweg zur Burg sind wir nur hoch gegangen, runter war die Rutschgefahr doch zu hoch.

Varied hike on the outskirts of Kassel. The starting point was Wilhelmshöhe train station, from which we took the train to Druseltal and back again from Harleshausen by bus. Both run every quarter of an hour during the week.
