Silkstone Parish Walks and jane jones went for a hike.

An interesting walk that combines historical interest and the lovely parish countryside. The path takes in the stocks, the Silkstone Waggonway and other points of local history in one direction to just past Low Mill Farm and a pretty path that takes in woodland and hedgerow in the other. This walk is 4 km or 2.5 miles and takes about 1.25 hours.. This walk is less affected by mud after prolonged wet weather but in really bad weather a return back up the Waggonway is possible.
