Time passed quickly, walked through lovely forest & villages.. Being so enthusiastic & having a dodgy route dossier, we overshot our accommodation by 5k so ended today’s walk by going back by taxi!!

Day 4, half way!!
A lovely walk, light cloud most of the way, but the sun came out on the last few km into Melide. A lot of the walks on ‘corridor’ paths that have connected villages for. hundreds of years.

Started off just as it came light, quite a lot of country lane walking thru small villages, crowds more spread out today . Took a detour to see a monastery & San Sebastián church, well worth it. The portion of the walk after a short lunch was hard going because…

Oof, killer day 1, no warm up at all. Some of those hills look brutal but overall a classic Camino day. You're all looking pretty fresh this evening, enjoy those beers and good luck for Day 2!x
