First we waited for the rain this morning and then walked across the orchards on Prinzenberg through the colorful autumn forest to Marienhöhe. The tower and the viewing terrace on Ludwigshöhe are being restored. Nevertheless, we could enjoy the view. We continued over the Herrgottsberg and the locked Bismarck tower to the Dachsberg. In between you could marvel at parts of the forest art trail. Along the Vivarium, Botanical Garden and Hofgut Oberfeld, we finally came to the Spanish Tower on the Rosenhöhe. It was an impressive autumn tour.

At the Hohenzollernblick we enjoyed the view for the first time (as far as the cloudy sky allowed). In Unterlengenhardt there was also a distant view of the Nagoldtal. This is where the controversial Tsar's daughter Anastasia used to live. Today there are many institutions of the Anthroposophical Society here. Paracelsus Hospital, Pedagogical Institute, Burghalde or alternative agriculture. We ran on tight serpentines through a dense forest with bizarre sandstones to Liebenzell Castle. There is currently no restaurant here. The place next to the castle is like a construction site. Further down we could enjoy a great view of Bad Liebenzell. Here was our goal. The tour was fun 🥳

Today we started with drizzling rain and then had 30 minutes of heavy rain. That's it and you can live with that. We first walked to Langenbrand via the Römerweg. They are said to have been here over 2000 years ago and a Roman road led past Schömberg to the east. We walked through beautiful pine forests to Salmbach. After the rain, the forest had a special smell, and at the end the sun was already shining again.

The weather was kind to us today too. First we went to the Charlottenhöhe. The main buildings were built in 1927 and used to be a pulmonary hospital. Now the place has become a lost place and you don't know exactly whether the morbid charm is fascinating or whether you should be angry about the vandalism. In any case, we enjoyed the wonderful forest and the view on the way back via Langenbrand.
