Rohrbach im Graben belongs to the municipality of Puchberg am Schneeberg and is embedded in an environment of alpine pastures and mountain domes. Peace is guaranteed here (unless the volunteer fire department is celebrating :-)).

First, we took the cogwheel railway from Puchberg am Schneeberg to the Hochschneeberg train station. This journey alone offers impressive views.
Once at the top, we continued upwards to the summit, first gently, then quite steeply (approx. 35%) and over rough terrain.

Today we went up the Sebastianbach and Fadengraben to the Sebastian waterfall and the Mamauwiese. The Alm there opens on Fridays. Practical if you have a snack with you. Today a tour to Kaninchenwerder was on the agenda.
There has been a small gastro there again for a few weeks.
Currently, sales are from a raft as the old island building is being renovated.

On a glorious first May weekend, we went through the picturesque fishing villages of Darß along the water. From Bodstedt, you can take a nice ferry ride back to Born.
