Bansin - Steilküste am Langen Berg - Mümmelkensee
Von Bansin aus erklimmen wir den 54 m hohen Langen Berg, höchste Erhebung an der Steilküste von Bansin mit Blick auf den unendlichen Sandstrand, weiter durch das Naturschutzgebiet Mümmelkensee zum gleichnamigen See mit alten Buchen- und Kiefernwäldern.

The hike is very varied, first it goes through a residential area, then through the vineyards to the flag tower, further through extensive vineyards into the pine forests to the Limburg monastery ruins. It is cold, damp and gray, nevertheless we like the landscape with wide views into the Rhine plain.

Varied tour through the forests and fields of the Spessart, over the ridge of the Main loop near Bettingen to Rothenfels, Bavaria's smallest town. Back via the Main cycle path over Marktheidenfeld to Wertheim.
