A beautiful hike through the Odenwald forest, rocky views, beautiful lush meadows, idyllic farms, and, at the end, a delicious cooked cheese schnitzel or venison bratwurst at the "Zum Odenwald" restaurant, right next to the hiking parking lot. If you love half-timbered houses, Duderstadt is a MUST. Almost the entire town center is filled with old, very well-preserved and restored half-timbered houses. For me, it's a real feast for the eyes.
