Got a bit lost at one point, but a farmer helped us out 'Go down the lane to the main road'. Walked for a mile or so on the main road but not a single car pased us. Lovely open country.

Lovely varied walk with views across to the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the Lake District. Kites plus Curlew, lapwings, oystercatchers in season.Warning: best attempt during a dry spell as otherwise likely to be be boggy. Some paths are poorly marked and some stiles are in disrepair.
