Both free parkings closer to Schrammsteine (on Zahnsgrund) are small and get full quickly. The big parking at the start of this hike is paid 5 Euro for a full day (coins or card). When you approach the stone, it looks like you could almost walk up to it. It doesn't look steep at all. And then you try and suddenly it's vertical, like trying to go up a wall. Then you touch that wooden ladder and it all shakes and wobbles like it's going to fall any minute. Missing steps don't help
