Steady ride into Derbyshire, some lovely rural views. However, the very blustery conditions made for a less than comfortable ride, also had a splash of rain.
Glad that I didn't go on my planned long ride to Eakring in Notts.🤔

King's Tree, Derwent Valley, Derbyshire.
Lovely day for a cycle. Cool breeze at times but very pleasant overall. Plenty of other cyclists about, especially around Ladybower Reservoir.

Lovely day for a cycle. Lots of nice quiet lanes, sadly some need resurfacing.

Getting lost in Chesterfield.🤔
Reccy ride south through Chesterfield with a view to cycling to the River Trent. However, got lost(ish) on the cycle paths. Will replan and stick to the roads which can be looked at with Komoots "Streetview".

Old School Tea Rooms, Carburton Dam, Nottinghamshire.
Beautiful day for a cycle, not too hot with a pleasant, cooling breeze. Some quiet lanes with good views of the rural landscape. Nice cuppa and scone at the Tea Rooms.

Worksop Library, Nottinghamshire.
Set off after a heavy shower. Remained dry, bright and warm for the ride. There was a cool, gusty breeze which was rather welcome at times.
