Getting lost in Chesterfield.🤔
Reccy ride south through Chesterfield with a view to cycling to the River Trent. However, got lost(ish) on the cycle paths. Will replan and stick to the roads which can be looked at with Komoots "Streetview".

Old School Tea Rooms, Carburton Dam, Nottinghamshire.
Beautiful day for a cycle, not too hot with a pleasant, cooling breeze. Some quiet lanes with good views of the rural landscape. Nice cuppa and scone at the Tea Rooms.

Set off after a heavy shower. Remained dry, bright and warm for the ride. There was a cool, gusty breeze which was rather welcome at times.

Anstead Bay stroll, Northumberland.
Short walk along a beautiful bit of coast while dodging the showers, even hailed at one point. However, when the sun came out it was nice and warm.🌞🤗

Fenham le Moor to Holy Island, Northumberland.
Much better day, no rain. Rather cloudy and there was a cool coastal breeze. Very pleasant when the sun popped out from behind the clouds. Some beautiful views of the landscape/seascape. Some of the smaller backroads had very poor surfaces for a road bike with 28mm tyres.🚲🤗
