Turned a small but nice lap this afternoon. We started from the parking lot at the Gutach cemetery, high up the mountain with a wonderful view to the Kaiserstuhl and the Vosges. On the other side it went down to Simonswald, also here with a great view of the valley. Then we went back to the parking lot

Great hiking trails, with lots of streams and waterfalls. Always a beautiful view of the lake. The way back is along the road for a while, which isn't so great, but it's doable. From the parking lot you can also enjoy a great view of the surrounding volcanic landscape.
