Scope Beck Tarn and Newlands Valley loop from Stair with Mrs J, Penny and Jeffrey the dog. Moving time approx 3hours (imported from Garmin/Strava)
Some lovely new walking area for me with great views of various fells. Incredibly and increasingly windy (absolutely howling down the valleys) and largely cloudy but no real rain.

From Grange back to Keswick via Portinscale - with Nigel, Penny, Mrs J (and Jeffrey the dog)
Nice walk along the lower slopes of Cat Bells and with a lunch stop at Lingholm Café. Mostly gloomy and some drizzle, but mild and a bit muggy

Heswall anticlockwise with young Ben
Very nice steady spin on a pleasant afternoon. Bit breezy from the west initially, but dropped to nothing later on. Nice views over the Dee estuary as always.
