Today I made a very nice tour between Witten-Bommern, Witten-Wengern through the Muttental and Steinhausen Castle
the path is very varied, there are narrow paths, small hiking trails but also asphalt.
There is a lot to discover along the way. The mining history accompanies you constantly and there is a large quarry to admire

Today I was on the road in my hometown Schwelm it went mountain uphill to Wuppertal Beyenburg (which was unfortunately flooded by the Wupper) so I avoided Beyenburg the route was about 27 km long with small detours I have some pictures of the Wupper made, you can see how high the water was 3 days ago, a small footbridge was completely flooded ..... unbelievable the whole 🙁

Today's beautiful natural hike around Dahlerau. The entire route is very easy to walk, there are narrow paths and beautiful hiking trails, in some cases you have to find your own way because the paths are no longer or very little maintained, you have a lot of views on the way, for example on the Wupper slopes along the Wupper. On the way you also come through a couple of beautiful little villages, one place I have to recommend in particular, who knows (Hardtplätze in the Hardt?) A little highlight is the old steam locomotive at Dahlhausenein DR class 52 built in 1944/45 for medium-duty freight train service.

Today's wonderful tour 24.5 KM with many meters of altitude:
      Ennepetal-Hasper dam-Gevelsberger Stadtwald
90% of the tour goes over narrow paths or nature trails, through Ennepetal itself you have to walk a little along the road.
On the way there are a few very nice places to stop for refreshments, for example: The new forester's house, which I can highly recommend, but the forester's house is not always open, please inform us beforehand

A very nice 44 KM bike tour in the Ruhr area
Start and finish in Castrop-Rauxel (front door)
A large part of the tour was on the König Ludwig Trasse, there is a lot to explore along the way.
The Suderwicher Alm, lost Places, the Henrichenburg ship lift and the mangrove swamps in Castrop-Rauxel 🙂 Bladenhorst Castle. There is a lot of information to read about old collieries and mining along the way

Bicycled once in a long time today.
my tour went to the Hoheward dump
I drove part of the way from the Emscher, but there are currently a lot of diversions, the Emscher is still under construction, I'm curious how it will be when everything is finished.

Today we did our first group hike in 2021, 18KM along the Wupper slopes near Solingen
Lots of nature, narrow paths and the Wupper almost always in view, a short detour to Burg Castle is always worthwhile
Thank you for the nice tour: Johann, Sylke, Marnie and Alex

One of my nicest tours 🙂
Altenberger Cathedral along the Dhünn Linnefe and Eifgenbach rivers
from almost 23 km by 18 km goes along many streams, the path is very natural, there are a lot of narrow paths and you almost everywhere go down to the streams.
On the way you walk through a lot of forest, across meadows and fields.
      Simply a wonderful tour 🙂
If you want to take a look at the Altenberg Cathedral in peace, you should start the tour early in the morning.
There are refreshment stops along the tour

Today I made a very nice circular route starting at the Beyenburger reservoir.
It went on narrow paths along the Wupper slopes towards Ülfebad, and on over the top mill to Önkfeld, and from Önkfeld past Remlingrade to the Spreeler Bach and from there on beautiful paths back to the hiking car park.
The tour is very close to nature with a lot of views, it goes through forest and over meadows mountain after mountain.
Attention at KM 12.6 you pass a courtyard where you have to go along to stay on the official hiking trail, the courtyard has put up signs that the passage there is forbidden! At Griesensiepen KM 15.6 there is the same problem, you first walk 3-4 KM to find out that the path is supposedly private here too! The hikers I met there all go on at the said places!
I set the tour dates, but each of you has to decide for yourself whether to go through there!
