Der Wettergott war uns heute auf unserer letzten Etappe gnädig, obwohl die Prognosen nicht gut waren. Dafür hatten wir einen Reifendefekt, den wir nicht reparieren konnten. Das französische Ventil war defekt und ich hatte nur einen Ersatzschlauch mit Autoventil dabei, der nicht durch die Felgenbohrung passte. Der anfängliche Schleichplatten konnte immer wieder für ca. 1km aufgepumpt werden, bis das Ventil dann komplett abgebrochen ist. Also ca. 3km Rad schieben bis Ditzum, da wir Sorge hatten die letzte Fähre zu verpassen. Auf der Fähre haben wir einen sehr netten Petkumer Radler kennen gelernt, der uns einen Ersatzschlauch aus seinem Privatfundus herausgesucht hat. So sind wir doch noch um 18:00 in Emden angekommen. Solche Erlebnisse gehören bei langen Touren einfach mit dazu, lerne: Ersatzteile vor der Tour besser überprüfen!!!
