Hiking day.... 1x a year and this time it started at Der Wachenburg, then to Burg Windeck and back via a circular route.
In the end, we cut it short because the rain caught up with us.

I've never been there before and read that there is shade and that the grass can be walked on.... even the parking lots are free 👍
Strolled around a bit, couldn't do more in the heat.
I can really recommend the spot for a picnic under the trees!
