On the way back home, we spent the night near the bird sanctuary near Frankfurt. We actually wanted to circumnavigate all the lakes. We then left it at the Vogelberger See.
A beautiful nature reserve. Still bald in March, of course, and a bit desolate. Whereby one is happy about every blossom.

A stopover at the Bad Münsterschwarzach monastery. It houses a high school, a farm, a butcher, a bakery, a goldsmith, a fair trade shop and of course a guest house. The church is kept very simple.
I always find it fascinating how places change when nature takes back what man has left behind.
