Heihei! I´m Lara and deeply passionate about bikepacking, cycling, hiking, and nature walks—it’s my way of connecting with the world and helping others do the same. I organise group hikes, bikepacking trips, and events, especially for FLINTA*people, creating spaces where everyone can feel welcome and supported.
As a geographer, vegan chef, and a student of Applied Sustainability, my love for nature drives everything I do. I believe nature has an incredible ability to soothe the mind and bring peace, which is especially important for those of us working in fields like climate science, sustainability, and social justice.
I like sharing my skills to help others feel confident and empowered in the outdoors.
Helping with building a good set of gear, tools and mind, honing navigational skills, route planning and guiding people in crafting adventures that suit them perfectly is my goal, so that they can embark on FLINTA* solo travels with a sense of independence and self-trust. Beyond that, I provide networks of like-minded people to create safe spaces where everyone can breathe, recharge, and find support. It’s all about self-empowerment, maintaining body health and nurturing balanced minds—helping others embrace the outdoors - as a place for adventure & a refuge for growth and renewal.
What have I done so far, so I am able to help people? On foot, I’ve hiked over 2,500 km along various parts of the Camino de Santiago, participated in excursions to Romania and Patagonia, and undertaken multi-day treks in places like the Saxon Switzerland National Park, the Romanian Carpathians, the Patagonian Andes, the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador, the Julian Alps in Slovenia, and the Coast to Coast Cross Country Hike in Northumberland. I’ve also spent three months conducting base-camp fieldwork and hikes for the Environment Agency of Iceland. On two wheels, I’ve covered over 5,000 kms on bikepacking trips across Europe, with my longest single journey spanning from Málaga to Lyon.
