Leider war von der traumhaften Winterlandschaft der letzten Wochen nur noch ein Rest vorhanden, trotzdem war es eine schöne Runde auf den Brocken. Von Oderbrück ging es über den Kaiserweg zum von Torfhaus kommenden Goetheweg und weiter über Eckersprung und den Neuen Goetheweg auf den Gipfel. Oben bot sich heute meist nur der Blick auf die Wolkendecke in den Tälern, gelegentlich auch auf einige umliegende Gipfel. Nach einer Runde um den Gipfel führte der Rückweg über den Grenzweg am Bodesprung und den Dreieckigen Pfahl wieder zum Ausgangspunkt.
