Vista Park to Vernonia

A few scenic views on this route. But part of this route is on Hwy 30, with a lot of high-speed traffic. There is a wide shoulder. But Hwy 47 has almost no shoulder and has many curves and blind spots. Fortunately there is little traffic on Hwy 47.

Willaby Campground to Pacific Beach State Park

Moclips Highway from Highway 101 to Moclips is a great ride. It's fairly flat with very little traffic. The road is well-paved and winds through dense forest. Although the first few miles of this route are on Highway 101, which has a moderate amount of high-speed traffic, it's worth doing…

Sequim Bay State Park to Log Cabin Resort Campground

Most of this route follows the Olympic Discovery Trail. The trail is mostly paved and occasionally goes on low-traffic roads. It is a pleasure to cycle and is highly recommended. Unfortunately this route also follows Highway 112 for several miles which has a narrow shoulder.

Lots of fun trails to ride. The Kettle Trail from Fort Ebey State Park starts off as fun single track through the forest and then turns into a nice paved trail that ends in Coupeville. The Larry Scott Memorial Trail is a very scenic trail that starts in Port Townsend…
