All the effort is in the first 4 miles then more or less down hill or level. Fantastic long distance views over Tosson Hill.

Biddlestone, Puncherton, Old Rookland circular
Circular route with spectacular views. Best walked autumn to end of spring when the bracken isn't neck high!!

Pleisspitz (2225m) circular from Lermoos via Grubigstein Bahnen
Utilising the 2 stages of the Grubigstein cable car to the top station then walking down into Gartner Tal. Ascend to Pleisspitz and descending back via Gartner Tal and then down to the cable car base station.

Coburger Hut (1917m) and the Drachensee from top station of Ehrwalder Almbahn
A popular hike up to the hut and back. Relatively straight forward and likely to be fairly busy although many choose not to tackle the climb from Seebensee up to the Coburger Hut.

Hollkopf (2194m) from top station of Marienbergbahnen, Biberwier
A relatively straight forward hike up to Hollkopf on a well defined path. Worth it to see the magnificent views up Grunstein and to see the alternative route round to the Coburger Hut

Am plansee to Heiterwang
Take a boat trip from the Heiterwanger See terminus to the terminus at Am Plansee then hike back. The route used is supposed to be closed to cyclist's but me met a small number. On a calm sunny day there are ample opportunities to take good reflection photographs.

Please note this circuit can not be completed as the path is closed at Morre. The route was closed in 2024 following a landslide and there is no alternative path.

Busy around the top station but the further you hike the less people there are. There are numerous routes back subject to how much time you have available.

From Hirzer cable car top station back to Saltusio
All downhill, 5000 feet of decent via Prenn which provides a stop off for lunch. The majority of the hike is on forest and alm paths with only made up road as you near the end.
