Tough but ace day in the saddle up in the Dales.
Starting and finishing at Helwith Bridge, we headed up out of Ribblesdale and over to Wensleydale via the Pennine Way and Cam High Road.
Stopped for lunch at the lovely Bolton Castle before a massive 6km climb back out of the valley from Thoralby, over
November's RRtY route out via the flatlands and over the Humber Bridge.
We bumped into a couple of cyclists near Horkstow and cycled with them to Barton. They were locals and recommended The Old School Canteen to us - what a great find! Will definitely visit there again.
