A very lovely walk. The park around the castle ruins is calm and peaceful and the view from the top is fantastic. Old Nice is very pretty, but a sensory overload of colours and sounds and smells and packed with people...we wandered there for a bit but then need to bustle out to the seafront for some

Lovely ride 😊 My knees held out on the long climb (whoop whoop) and the descent from Syfydrin was rough, wet, loose and muddy...so oodles of seat-of-your-pants fun! We also got the best of the weather before it closed in this afternoon. One of my favourite loops ❤️

I know a rest day after one day of touring is a little indulgent, but I have wanted to visit Lincoln for a long time and I am so glad we factored this into our plans.
We climbed up Steep Hill (which is a narrow, cobbled and very steep road) and came out at the top to the castle on our left and the cathedral
